Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government will receive an additional $3.2 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency after winning an appeal related to a claim filed to recoup costs incurred in the wake of a massive ice storm that his Louisville in January 2009.

FEMA initially denied the claim on the basis that it was higher than other communities in Kentucky.
