Louisville flu shots here off to slow start
Louisville Public Health Director Adewale Troutman doesn’t want residents lulled into a false sense of security about the upcoming flu season just because last season didn’t turn out to be as bad as had been feared.
“I’m definitely worried” about people letting their guard down, Troutman said after his department announced a communitywide vaccination campaign Thursday. Included are walk-in clinics at firehouses and other locations, and free vaccinations at possibly more than 60 Jefferson County public schools.
